  • Adding Prindex to World Poll a “a major step forward” - Gallup. Prindex will cover 140 countries by the end of 2019 through World Poll, a service of leading international pollster Gallup. Joe Daly, a Partner at Gallup, begins our quarterly newsletter by explaining why this landmark expansion in coverage matters.
  • Spotlight on Senegal as policy makers set to consider Prindex findings - view on page two of PDF version. On 6 and 7 March, policymakers, civil society and journalists will meet in Dakar to review data collected by Prindex in the country last year, as well as other land indicators coordinated by the International Land Coalition’s Dashboard initiative. The policy forum, convened by Senegalese NGO IPAR, represents Prindex’s commitment to ensuring our data is seen by, and relevant to, national policymakers.
  • Save the date! Join us in Washington DC on 25 March to launch our second wave of data and first annual report.
  • Prindex at the World Bank’s Annual Conference on Land and Poverty 2019. We are presenting three papers at two sessions during the conference.

New global data from 108 countries reveals increasing tenure insecurity – urgent policy action required

The latest global assessment of land and housing tenure security reveals alarming trends. According to the 2024 Prindex Report, approximately 1.1 billion adults worldwide—23% of the adult population in 108 countries surveyed—feel insecure about their rights to property or land.
